The Coffeebrewer

The Coffeebrewer is best described as a disposable French press.
Inside the pouch is a filter with 26 g of freshly ground specialty coffee.
To brew 3 cups of coffee, all you need is to open it, pour ½ L hot water
into it, and let it brew 5-8 min.

The unique brewing system is designed to preserve the coffee’s natural
oils. This enhances the delicate flavours and finer aromas of the coffee,
which otherwise can only be achieved by using a French press.

The Coffeebrewer is basically a hybrid
between a filter dripmaker and a French Press.
The design of The Coffeebrewer enables a
perfect extraction as the volume of the pouch
allows the hot water to interact with the coffee
grounds and extract the aroma.The filter is
designed to preserve all natural oils and
flavours in the coffee. Therefore – a richer taste !

The filter will effectively separate the brewed coffee from
the grounds and when you have served the first 1½ cup
the remaining coffee will be under the filter and the brewing
process will stop. This means that the coffee will not go
bitter over time like in a French Press.

our coffees. Every single Coffeebrewer represents the
pure and authentic coffee experience from a named

roasted in small portions according to the characteristics
of the individual coffee and not least with respect for
the work carried out by the grower. When you enjoy a cup

Freedom vs Machines

We are up against a coffee culture where machines have ruled the coffee
world for many centuries. The coffee industry has been more focused on
inventing and developing new coffee machine systems than promoting
tasty gourmet experiences and the quality of coffee.

Where the coffee industry is all focused on selling coffee-systems that can
only be brewed in “their” hardware, and making the consumer “marry” into
a set menu of mixed multi-estate coffees – we are quite opposite.

Environment & Carbon footprint

The Coffeebrewer clearly uses more packaging material
per cup of coffee than most other coffee solutions. However,
we DO NOT use any aluminium. The pouch is made from
7.7 g PE, 1.6 g PET and 6.8 g paper coming from reforested
Swedish woods. PE consists of coal (C) and hydrogen (H2),
which are naturally a part of our environment and therefore
they are not harmful to the environment.

Thus, in a greater lifestyle context the carbon footprint of the
Coffeebrewer is very insignificant. For example 1 flight from
Europe to America can be translated into a carbon footprint of
roughly 300.000 Coffeebrewers. That said, it does not negate
our responsibility to nature – and we will continue to take
responsible initiatives and actions to reduce our carbon footprint.
